Our pre-employment service, Inclusion Works, supports disabled people in developing the skills to work, learn, and engage in the community, enhancing their health and wellbeing. We offer pre-employment support, helping individuals create a plan for training and work goals, while also empowering individuals to engage independently in their communities.Support and activities include:

• One-to-one mentoring and support
• Disability specific training for example personal effectiveness following brain injury
• Employability skills, exploration of work goals and work placements
• Preparation to access further education or training
• Voluntary work
• Social inclusion skills and opportunities

For individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) on the Inclusion Works service, there may be opportunity to participate in the specialist brain injury programme, Personal Effectiveness After Brain Injury (PEABI). This is a unique programme delivered throughout Northern Ireland. 

Participants join PEABI groups to:

• Share experiences of their journey since acquiring a brain injury
• Learn strategies to deal with the impact of brain injury
• Gain support from people who have experienced similar experiences
• Develop resilience and stress management strategies
