Housing Support

Cedar's Ulidia House we supports tenants with Physical Disabilities and/or Sensory Impairments, requiring 'housing related support', to enable them to maintain their independence and tenancy.

Your Housing Support worker will agree a Support Plan/Risk Assessment detailing agreed housing related support needs. They will guide the support offered to you, to live independently and help you to maintain your tenancy. Housing related support is offered 5 hours per week and is attached to your tenancy in Ulida House, This is in partnership with Choice Housing Association. 

Support is offered Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm only

We can support people with the following:

  • Tenancy Rights and Responsibilities
  • Debt and Budget Management
  • Benefits Check
  • Access to Local Social, Recreational, and Community Activities
  • Household Management Skills
  • Home Adaptations and Repairs
  • Maintaining Healthy Lifestyle, Independent Shopping, and Basic Cooking Skills
  • Access to Local Medical and Health Facilities 

*Outlined above are examples of areas of support offered, but the list is not exhaustive

Cedar’s Ulidia House Housing Support service is funded by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive’s Supporting People Programme

Housing Support will be provided while you are a tenant in Ulidia House, Donegall Road, Belfast, BT12 5JN
