Mark is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of post-qualification experience, gained predominantly within leading financial services organisations such as Standard Life, First Trust Bank, Ulster Bank, and the wider NatWest Group. More recently, he has brought his expertise to the professional services sector through his work with A&O Shearman, a leading multinational law firm.

Throughout his career, Mark has held a variety of senior management roles across global finance functions. His areas of expertise include Financial Control, statutory, regulatory and management reporting, Business Intelligence, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Strategic Partnering. He has collaborated with teams across North America, Europe, and Asia, and has worked extensively in key financial centres such as London, Edinburgh, and Dublin.

Alongside his demanding professional roles, Mark has remained committed to community involvement. He believes he can make a meaningful contribution as a Board Member at Cedar, not only by leveraging his strong finance and accountancy background, but also through his experience in strategic planning, organisational change, and governance and risk management.
