Northern Ireland Can’t Wait: Pivotal Report released at Parliament Buildings NICVA launched the Pivotal Report at an All-Party Group meeting at Parliament Buildings, Stormont. The meeting included representatives from the voluntary and community sector including our CEO, Elaine Armstrong. What does the report cover? The Pivotal report addresses the current status of 320,000 economically inactive people living in Northern Ireland and explores strategies to improve the opportunities for these individuals. It considers transition arrangements around changing funding streams, the unique value of the sector and the potential for enhanced co-design and provision of services. What is NICVA? NICVA is the representative umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland and supports the Economic Inactivity Coalition - a network of voluntary and community sector organisations delivering vital, community-led support to those furthest from the labour market.
