On 2nd of October 2025, Jack Whitehall joined one of Cedar's SkillSET Employment Support programmes in the Western Health and Social Care Trust.

These programmes are designed to help a range of people - including those who have a brain injury, autism, health condition and/or physical disability - gain employment.

Over the course of five weeks, Jack completed SCTV training. He also received support to create a CV, 1:1 mentoring support for job searching, and 1:1 support to prepare for interviews.

Jack completed the programme on 3rd of November, after which we're delighted to say that he gained employment at The Range!

Reflecting on his new employment and his time working with Cedar Employment Officer Nicola Downey, Jack said:

"It was very beneficial signing on with Cedar. I am very grateful to say that it was the right decision for me. It was an absolute pleasure working with Nicola. She helped me get a job at The Range!"

For her part, Nicola Downey said: "During his time on the SkillSET programme, Jack demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication. He actively pursued employment opportunities and invested considerable effort in preparing for interviews. It was particularly rewarding to witness Jack’s growing self-confidence with each meeting."

We're excited to see what lies ahead for Jack!
