ABI Choices staff worked in collaboration with Northern Health and Social Care Trust's Health and Wellbeing Manager Nicola Arbuckle to deliver therapeutic photography sessions for Cedar Foundation's service users. The four sessions were delivered by the very talented staff members from Belfast Exposed Photography. Service users visited the People's Park in Ballymena and Antrim Castle Gardens to capture pictures and support their health and well-being through the arts. Service users from ABI Choices, Inclusion Matters and Inclusion works attended and staff members Lauren, Karen and Claire supported service users to attend the course on a weekly basis.

The course incorporated exercises, friendships were formed and it provided a safe place to be in nature.

"I really enjoyed coming to the photography sessions as it helped me to take my mind off things and be really present in the moment."

Project Officer Lauren (ABI Choices) said:

"We were very lucky to secure the funding for these sessions with Belfast Exposed Photography, Sam and Mervyn are very good at what they do. It has been great to get the support from Nicola from the NHSCT's Health and well-being Team, it is Brilliant to be able to provide something different for our service users and we look forward to working together again in the near future, many thanks to all involved".
