Cedar recognised with Platinum Investors in People Award

We are proud to announce that we have retained the coveted Platinum accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, for our workplace culture. 

Investors in People assessor, Stephanie McCutcheon, presented the prestigious award at an event at the Crowne Plaza for our employee STAR (Showcasing Talent and Achieving Results) Awards, which recognise the commitment, dedication and innovation of the staff teams, volunteers and User Forum. 

We retained our Platinum status, which is held by only 7% of organisations assessed under the standard, for the second time since first achieving it in 2018. We were particularly commended for our culture, founded on values driven decisions, which results in employees being engaged and committed to supporting the best possible outcomes for service users.

The ‘We invest in People’ standard is used by over 50,000 organisations worldwide and assesses how well organisations are leading, supporting and improving their people. The Investors in People framework which underpins the standard enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.  

Speaking at the STAR awards, Stephanie McCutcheon said:

“This award recognises that Cedar has a culture built on trust, transparency and teamwork. Staff have conveyed a sense of pride in working for the organisation, highlighting how the organisation values innovative development and embraces staff development. Staff also exhibited confident resilience when discussing how the organisation faces challenges. This is an outstanding outcome and a testament to all the staff across the organisation.”
